Grow is the result of many years of hard work and dedication to those suffering from illnesses that cause hair loss and skin irritation.
For a long time now, we have wanted to bring our knowledge, support, and care to help as many people as possible. However, bringing the business to the world of online has been a long process, as we wanted to get it right, and be able to bring the same warmth and safe haven from the salon to online.
Many of our current customers will know Sheena from the Hair and Wig Room, and whilst word of mouth has been the success behind reaching many people, we are now expanding the business online.
Sheena has been working with cancer and alopecia patients for over 20 years, originally starting in the Christie hospital in Manchester, then opening her own salon in the heart of Didsbury, where customers have become friends, and the shop has become a safe haven for people and to meet others going through the same journey. This has meant many clients have now become friends and refer to the salon as a haven where they come to laugh, cry, talk, but most importantly, walk out having been restored to the aversion of themselves that they love and recognise, but also having grown mentally and physically in the process.
The salon is described by many customers as being "their fourth emergency service". So, here we are, ready to become an emergency service to many more.

Over the 20 years of working alongside those who are going through treatment for illnesses, mainly Cancer and alopecia, but also the menopause, pre- and post-natal, and most recently Covid 19, we have been able to use the knowledge we have gained to hand pick select brands and their products.
These brands are ones that share our same ethical and environmental values, and where possible, are made and manufactured within the UK.
We have tried and tested the products over the years ourselves, and are confident we have chosen a collection of the most premium brands and their products that share our values and help to restore kilter.
We are constantly listening to the struggles people are facing when going through illnesses and researching what products are available to help ease some of the difficulties you may face.
We are here every step of the way to help replenish, restore, but most importantly, grow with you on your journey. This is just the start of our online store, Grow. We are here to help, and would love you to grow with us.

Through every step of the process at Grow, we have strong ethical and environmental morals. Therefore, the brands and products that we stock must reflect these.
The majority of our products are handmade in the UK from organic products. We also actively look to support small businesses and charities.
We are conscious of our carbon footprint and are constantly looking for ways to reduce it.
